The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is designed to find the English proficiency level of international students who are planning to study in a country where English is the language used for teaching. TOEFL is a worldwide test that is made available to everyone.
The TOEFL Evaluation System project basically evaluates students against the TOEFL standards. Students can use this system to test themselves and the system will evaluate their performance.
The system incorporates Multiple Classification Ripple Down Rules (MCRDR) to catagorise the student's responses to the questions. From this catagorisation, the system can evaluate the performance of the student. This makes the TOEFL Evaluation System a useful tool for those students wishing to study for the actual TOEFL.
