Eonfusion Documentation Delivery Stream

Location

Hobart

Description

Myriax is an award winning local software producer with a large international market and in a phase of growth hoping to establish positive relationships with emerging talent in the Hobart IT sector.
Eonfusion is a product with multimillion dollar multi-year investment and a team of a dozen people employed, aiming to penetrate the scientific market with multi-dimensional spatial and temporal data integration and analysis tool that we perceive to be in high demand.
We are using a MediaWiki to present end user documentation to our clients. See http://eonfusion.myriax.com/documentation. We intend to support distributed contribution on end user documentation and more the traditional delivery stream of a compiled off-line help distributed with the software itself . This requires us to:
1) Manage the evolution of a live site with user contributions and a backroom staging site where the next release documentation is developed in parallel
2) Manage the integration of these two wikis at release time
3) Be able to convert either wiki to a compiled help format on demand
4) Offer that service to end users on our web site, so that they can download a dynamically generated compiled help version of the wiki to update their local help.
