The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) is Australia’s national science agency. CSIRO’s purpose is to contribute new scientific knowledge for the benefit of the Australian people.

Representative

Our client representative is Andrew Terhorst, who is a Sensor Research Scientist with CSIRO’s Tasmanian Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Centre. Andrew is a passionate advocate of Sensor Web Enablement and has requested this project to provide an application for browsing the Sensor Web and requesting readings from Sensors. CSIRO is currently running a Sensor Web test bed in the South Esk which Andrew has been heavily involved in. He has made these sensors available to this project as sample services for the application to connect to.
